Recreation and vacation on the farm have been an almost 60-year-old tradition at the fruit-growing fields Feldhof. In 2019 we turned the simple accommodations of our grandparents into modern holiday homes. Letting our guests feel at home on holiday, was and will always be our primary goal. We are situated in a quiet area in midst of our own apple plantations with an incredible view over the Etsch valley, just a one-minute walk away from the village center. The best prerequisites to enjoy your vacation and tank up new energy.
We are Christian and Gaby Thurner with our daughters, Anna and Evi, as well my mother Hildegard. Together we farm our apple-growing business and take care of our guests.
For keen swimmers, we have a large swimming pool of 20 metres length. After a relaxing swim in the refreshing salt water, you can enjoy the silence and peace in our spacious garden. If you get hungry, you can savour your meal at our sitting and barbecue area.
Also, a farm is always a fun place for children. The natural playground, far away from cars and machines, is the perfect place for our little guests to go on an expedition. Our pets, rabbits, guinea pigs and quails, can be petted and feeded and promise new experiences for everyone.
In case bad weather hinders you of undertaking your planned activities, you are welcome to use our gym or play Children’s games and other parlour games in our lounge.
Your e-car can also be charged by us for a fee.

Our holiday homes for 2 to 7 persons are bathed in sunshine throughout the day and impress with der modern straightforward design and their furnishing made from warm and regional natural materials. The spaciousness of the apartments and terraces guarantee enough free space for everyone. Walking barefoot across the solid wood floors and breathing in the healthy scent of pine stands for experience and energy. All apartments are pointed south and situated on the second floor. The large panoramic windows offer a wonderful view over the Etsch valley and the onto the surrounding mountain landscapes.The under-floor cooling und heating system guarantees comfortable room temperature and optimal recreation, on really hot summer days as well as in the cold winter.
All our apartments have one or two bedrooms, a roomy and sunlit living space with a sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchen (with a ceramic hot plate, kitchen hood, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, coffee machine, toaster and water boiler), a flat screen TV with satellite receiver, radio, safe and a bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet and hairdryer. In all our apartments you get free WIFI.
For families with small children we offer upon request travel beds or bed rail, high chairs and changing mats. With a central vacuum cleaner and special bed linen we try to show consideration towards allergy sufferers.
We would kindly ask your understanding for the fact that pets as well as smoking are not allowed in the new apartments.

The minimum price corresponds to the minimum number of guests per day and to the minimum stay of 4 nights. It includes the final cleaning rate and ancillary costs (heating, water and electricity). For every additional person we charge a surcharge of 20 Euro per day and for children up to 14 years of age 14 Euro. Upon consultation shorter stays are possible in the pre-season and off-season for a surcharge of 50-70 Euro. Local taxes are decided by the municipal council and costs 2,00 Euro per person (14 yrs and older) per day. It is not included in our prices and will be charged separately at the end of your stay.
Paying methods
As soon as the earnest money (caparra 300 Euro) is transferred, the apartment is reserved for you. The remaining amount can be paid during your stay (cash limit 5.000 Euro).

Reservations become binding after a prepayment of 300 Euro (caparra) and the mailing of our booking confirmation.

Upon request we offer a breakfast with numerous farm and regional products. From 7.30 a.m. until 9.30 a.m. we offer different breakfast menus: an ample breakfast basket or a traditional farm breakfast at a covered breakfast table.
Let yourself be pampered and enjoy our home-grown or self-made products like fruit spreads, apple juice, peach or pear nectar, elder or lemon balm juice, seasonal fruit, compote, apple sauce and homemade Strudel, cakes or yeast dumplings.
All other products like milk, yoghurt, butter, cheese, fresh rolls, eggs, bacon and sausage products, cereal and honey are exclusively original South Tyrolean quality products. A wish list can help you build your own breakfast (15-18 € per person an kind). Of course, our little guests can order a special kid’s breakfast (10 € per person for children up to 14 years).

In the meadows in front of our house, we grow different all sorts of fruits from orchards and various vegetables. Beside different stone fruits, we also harvest many berries like raspberries, blackberries, currants etc. Each season we invite our guests to sample different fruits and vegetables.
Due to the Mediterranean climate in the heart of the Alps, many different herbs can be grown in our garden. As we are convinced of their powers and as we have been using them for our health and our cooking for decades, we have planted an own herb garden for our guests. You can feel free to pick herbs whenever you want.

For many years, we, Christian and Gaby, have been certified mountain bike guides and have specialized our holiday resort on cycling. On the guided tours you will get to know our region, its nature and people and maybe learn some tips and tricks in handling the bikes. As passionate bikers we try to grant your’s every wish for a great bike vacation or a successful training camp.
Service for cyclists
The Mediterranean climate in the South of South Tyrol enables you to start training in February and enjoy a bicycle-season of 10 months. Mostly you can cycle through the Etsch Valley all year long.
Only a few kilometres away, you can find wonderful mountain bike paths and experience big climbs. 6 cable car railways within a 700-metre to 15-kilometre radius around the farm make it possible to find some shade in summer and enjoy the beautiful mountain landscape across forest paths and single trails.
A bicycle path leads right past our farm, which makes pleasure-tours and racing possible. The well-developed cycle path networks lead in every direction for uncountable miles.
If you cycle towards the North, you will cycle along the riverbank of the Etsch, past apple trees and vineyards towards Merano, through the Vinschgau Valley on to the Reschen Pass.
The mountain specialists amongst you, can climb the Stilfserjoch in the Vinschgau valley, the Timmelsjoch, Penserjoch and the Jaufen Pass by Merano. If you take the path towards the South, you can cycle until you get to Lake Garda or you can cycle north-east as soon as you get to Bolzano and take the route through the Eisack Valley to Brixen and on to the Brenner Pass or into the Pustertal across the Drau-bicycle path to Lienz. There are several opportunities to take the train back home. Ambitioned cyclists that wish to cross a mountain stage, can take the tour over the Gampen Pass, the Mendel Pass or the mountain street towards Mölten right near our holiday resort.
We work in close cooperation with the specialist shop “Tobike” (2km away), where you can rent professional mountain bikes, racing bikes, E-mountain-bikes and E-trekking-bikes.
